The Ringgold County Engineer's Office is located at 707 S. Henderson Drive and the maintenance shop is located at 701 S. Henderson in Mount Ayr, Iowa. The Road Department is in charge of construction and maintenance for all of the county roads and bridges. This includes 153 miles of hard surfaced roadways, 524 miles of granular surfaced roadways, and 199 miles of earth surfaced roadways. Excluded from the county system are roads that are located within the corporate limits of any town (except Farm-to-Market roadways), as well as highways on the State system (i.e. U.S. Hwy 2 and Hwy 169)

The main maintenance facility is located in Mount Ayr at 701 S. Henderson Drive. Satellite shops are located in Beaconsfield, Diagonal, Kellerton, Maloy, Redding, and Tingley.
